Your personal data may be processed by the Bestie Quiz app under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) as described below.

Personal data we process

Identity and profile: display name, username, optional first/last name, age, gender, phone, avatar preset or uploaded photo, frame preferences.
Account and session: Firebase Authentication ID, sign-in provider (anonymous, Google, etc.), last activity time.
Game and content: created/played quizzes, questions, answers, scores, favorites, share/invite codes and links, community templates.
Social use: friendships, requests, activity feed, blocks, content/user reports.
Economy / engagement: points, quests, streaks, level, digital frame/coupon records and abuse-prevention data.
Device and usage: platform, notification token, language preference, technical logs and crash reports (Crashlytics).

Bestie Quiz does not collect health data, sensitive biometric data, or precise location history.

Purposes of processing

Account creation, authentication and account security
Providing quiz creation, play, scoring and sharing features
Managing friendships, invites and social interaction
Notifications and applying user preferences
Moderation, abuse prevention and support
Debugging, performance and service improvement
Complying with legal obligations

Legal bases

Data may be processed for performance of a contract, legal obligations of the controller, establishment/exercise/protection of a right, and legitimate interests provided your fundamental rights are not harmed. Where explicit consent is legally required for a separate feature, that consent is requested separately and freely.

Transfers and infrastructure providers

To provide the service we use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, Analytics, Performance) and Apple/Google app store infrastructure. If you sign in with Google, that provider also processes sign-in data. These providers’ servers may be located abroad.

International transfers are made only as needed to provide the service, within the transfer conditions and safeguards under Article 9 of the KVKK. This text is not a consent statement; it provides notice about processing.

Public content and moderation

Public quiz titles, questions, choices, images and your profile name may be visible to other users. User reports and automated checks may apply. Authorized moderators may review content, report reasons and related account identifiers.

Retention

Your data is kept while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After an account deletion request, related data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable time; legal retention duties remain. Deleted data cannot be restored. Quiz copies created independently by other users remain separate from the source account.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may:

Learn whether your data is processed
Request information about processing
Learn whether it is used for its purpose
Request correction
Request deletion or destruction
Request restriction of processing
Request compensation for damage from unlawful processing

Children

Bestie Quiz is not directed to children under 13. Personal data of children under 13 should not be processed without parent/guardian consent. A parent or guardian may request deletion of a child’s account.

Kişisel verileriniz, 6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu (“KVKK”) uyarınca Bestie Quiz uygulaması tarafından aşağıda açıklanan kapsamda işlenebilir.

İşlenen kişisel verileriniz

Kimlik ve profil: görünen ad, kullanıcı adı, isteğe bağlı ad/soyad, yaş, cinsiyet, telefon, avatar preset veya yüklenen profil fotoğrafı, çerçeve tercihleri.
Hesap ve oturum: Firebase Authentication kimliği, giriş sağlayıcısı (anonim, Google vb.), son aktiflik zamanı.
Oyun ve içerik: oluşturulan/çözülen testler, sorular, cevaplar, skorlar, favoriler, paylaşım ve davet kodları/linkleri, topluluk şablonları.
Sosyal kullanım: arkadaşlıklar, istekler, etkinlik akışı, engellemeler, içerik/kullanıcı şikâyetleri.
Ekonomi / etkileşim: puan, görev, seri, seviye, dijital çerçeve/kupon kayıtları ve kötüye kullanım önleme verileri.
Cihaz ve kullanım: platform, bildirim tokenı, dil tercihi, teknik günlükler ve çökme raporları (Crashlytics).

Bestie Quiz sağlık verisi, hassas biyometrik veri veya kesin konum geçmişi toplamaz.

Hukuki sebepler

Veriler; sözleşmenin kurulması veya ifası, veri sorumlusunun hukuki yükümlülükleri, bir hakkın tesisi/kullanılması/korunması ve temel hak ve özgürlüklerinize zarar vermemek kaydıyla meşru menfaat hukuki sebepleri kapsamında işlenebilir. Açık rızanın hukuken gerekli olduğu ayrı bir özellik sunulursa bu rıza, aydınlatmadan ayrı ve özgür iradeye dayalı olarak istenir.

Aktarım ve altyapı sağlayıcıları

Hizmetin sunulması için Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, Analytics, Performance) ve Apple/Google uygulama mağazası altyapıları kullanılır. Google ile giriş seçilirse ilgili sağlayıcı da giriş verisini işler. Bu sağlayıcıların sunucuları yurt dışında bulunabilir.

Yurtdışına aktarım; hizmetin sunulması için gerekli olduğu ölçüde, KVKK’nın 9. maddesinde öngörülen aktarım şartları ve uygun güvenceler çerçevesinde gerçekleştirilir. Bu metin bir açık rıza beyanı değildir; veri işleme faaliyetleri hakkında aydınlatma sağlar.

Herkese açık içerik ve moderasyon

Public olarak yayınladığınız test başlığı, sorular, seçenekler, görseller ve profil adınız diğer kullanıcılara görünebilir. Kullanıcı şikâyetleri ve otomatik kontroller uygulanabilir. İnceleme için içerik, şikâyet nedeni ve ilgili hesap kimlikleri yetkili moderatörlerce görülebilir.

Saklama süresi

Verileriniz, hesabınız aktif olduğu sürece ve hizmetin sunumu için gerekli olduğu müddetçe saklanır. Hesap silme talebinizden sonra ilgili veriler makul süre içinde silinir veya anonimleştirilir; yasal saklama zorunlulukları saklıdır. Silinen veriler geri getirilemez. Başka kullanıcıların bağımsız oluşturduğu test kopyaları kaynak hesaptan ayrıdır.

Haklarınız

KVKK’nın 11. maddesi uyarınca aşağıdaki haklara sahipsiniz:

İşlenmişse buna ilişkin bilgi talep etme
Amacına uygun kullanılıp kullanılmadığını bilme
Düzeltilmesini isteme
Silinmesini veya yok edilmesini isteme
İşlemenin kısıtlanmasını talep etme
Kanuna aykırı işleme nedeniyle zararın giderilmesini isteme

Çocuklar

Bestie Quiz 13 yaşın altındaki çocuklara yönelik değildir. 13 yaşından küçük çocukların kişisel verilerinin veli/vasi onayı olmadan işlenmemesi esastır. Veli veya vasi, çocuğa ait hesabın silinmesini talep edebilir.
